Bikes On The Floor
Bikes listed as in stock are available as demo models to test ride in our Marrickville showroom. We only keep demo models on site. New bikes are available to purchase via special order.
Available To Special Order
Special orders are available with a 2-week approx. lead time. Special orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit, with balance to be paid on collection, or there may be a discount for paying in full upfront. Bikes listed as "out of stock" on our website are not available to test ride, but they may be in stock with the supplier and available to special order. Please enquire to find out more.
Available To Pre-order
Pre-orders may be available on new bikes scheduled to land in upcoming shipments. Pre-orders require a minimum 10% deposit with balance paid on arrival*, or there may be a discount for paying in full upfront. Please enquire to find out more.
*arrival refers to arrival of shipment, rather than collection of bike
Pick Up & Delivery
Marrickville In-Store Pick up
For all new electric bike purchases our preference is for in-store pick up from our Marrickville Showroom. We'll talk you through operation of the bike and care/maintenance, including safe charging practices, make any necessary adjustments, and answer any questions you may have. You will be required to sign a pick up form stating that you have test ridden the bike, and have read and understood our warranty and returns policy. If the purchase was made through our website, we will need to cite your ID as well as the card used to make the purchase.
You'll receive a text message when your bike is ready for collection. Replying to this message to let us know when you're able to pick up the bike is not essential but is much appreciated :) New electric bike batteries arrive at storage capacity (usually between 20-40%) and take around 4-5 hours to fully charge. If you require 100% charge (eg to ride home) please let us know ahead of time and we'll be happy to do this for you.
Transportation
To transport your new bike home, we'd recommend one of the following options:
Ride it home! - There's no better way to get acquainted with your new ebike than on its maiden voyage home. We can give you route recommendations or any other tips you may need.
Public transport - We are located about 2km from the Sydney Metro/Sydenham Station, or 1.5km from Stanmore Station/Inner West line. Both Stanmore and Sydenham stations have lift facilities.
Van - All our electric bikes including cargo bikes will fit in a GoGet van (or similar).
Car carrier - Platform carriers weight-rated for ebikes, eg Buzzrack, Thule, can be fit to either tow ball or hitch mount. Ebikes cannot be transported on a standard bike rack as they max out the weight limit.
We generally only recommend transporting your new electric bike in your car as a last resort, and advise against removing wheels or any other disassembly, unless you are confident you can re-install the components to the correct torque specifications. If the car is the only option, we recommend measuring first to make sure the bike will fit, contact us for the measurements of your bike. Ensure the bike goes in drive side (chain) facing up, to avoid damaging any of the componentry, and do not squeeze the brake levers if wheels are removed.
If you're not able to pick up or transport your new electric bike, in some instances we may be able to deliver the bike to you via courier.
Local Delivery
Local delivery is completed via courier. Bikes will be fully assembled & safety checked by the workshop just as they are for in-store pickup, and then delivered in a van. We are not able to deliver disassembled bikes. Upon delivery, we'll talk you through operation of the bike and care/maintenance, including safe charging practices, make any necessary adjustments, and answer any questions you may have. You will be required to sign a pick up form stating that you have test ridden the bike, and have read and understood our warranty and returns policy. If the purchase was made through our website, we will need to cite your ID as well as the card used to make the purchase.
Our courier can deliver to metro Sydney, and in some cases can deliver to Wollongong, Canberra and Newcastle. The delivery cost is $200. Please enquire for more info.
Interstate Delivery
Electric bikes must be partially disassembled in order to be boxed for interstate shipping, and will require reassembly by a qualified mechanic. For this reason we are unable to ship electric bikes interstate.
